Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before placing your order
What's the difference between the frames?
The Classic is a slim satin frame in 8 colours under an acrylic glaze, sitting close to the glazing. The Studio is a deep box frame in 3 colours under an acrylic glaze, which sets the print back so it reads recessed rather than pressed flat. The Gallery is that same box frame in 4 colours, set under real glass, on Hahnemühle German Etching paper, made by our UK specialists. Prefer to frame it your own way? Our Print lane ships unframed and ready to frame.
What sizes can I order?
Framed prints come in A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0. Print only runs A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0, because there is no frame to cap it. Every size is the same ISO proportion, so the artwork you sign off is the artwork that prints, at any of them.
Do the frames come with a mount?
No. Nothing in the range ships with a mount any more. On The Studio and The Gallery the box moulding does the same job on its own: its depth holds the print back from the glazing, so the image reads recessed rather than pressed flat.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders are produced in the print lab nearest you: we print locally in the US, UK, EU and Australia. Locally produced orders typically arrive within 4–7 business days; orders shipped internationally take 8–14 business days. The Gallery is the exception: it is made by our UK specialist printers, so an Australian address is an international shipment. Both windows cover production and transit together, so they run from your order rather than from dispatch.
Why does The Gallery take longer to reach Australia?
The Gallery is printed and framed by our UK specialist printers, not in the lab nearest you. For an Australian address that makes it an international shipment: allow 8–14 business days rather than 4–7 business days. Its freight crosses the world rather than a city, so the delivery quote at checkout is higher than the locally made tiers, and it is priced for your size, frame and address rather than a flat rate.
How much is delivery?
Free standard delivery in Australia on the Classic, Studio and Print tiers - every size on unframed prints, and framed prints up to A2. Framed A1 and A0 are quoted at checkout. Everywhere else, there is no flat rate: delivery is priced for your size, frame and address, and that amount is shown on the order summary before you pay. Bigger frames and longer routes cost more, and The Gallery is quoted on UK freight because that is where it is made.
What are my delivery options?
Every lane the lab can price for your address is offered at checkout, cheapest first, each with its own window. Standard is 4–7 business days on a locally produced order and 8–14 business days internationally; express, where the carrier offers it, is 2–4 business days locally. If a lane is missing for your address, the carrier does not serve that route rather than us withholding it.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to over 50 countries worldwide. Orders shipped internationally typically arrive within 8–14 business days. International orders may be subject to customs duties or taxes, collected by the carrier on delivery.
Can I track my order?
Most shipments include carrier tracking, and we'll email it to you as soon as it's available. Not every carrier on every route supplies one, which is why we say most rather than all: where there is no tracking number we will still tell you the day your order ships.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, for 24 hours after payment. That is the pause before we hand the job to the lab, and your confirmation email carries a cancel link that works for the whole of it. Reply to that email if you want a change rather than a cancellation. Once the lab has started we cannot stop it, because every print is made to order.
What happens if my order is late?
We watch for it rather than waiting to be told. If an order has not shipped within 5 business days of payment we chase the lab and email you, and we do the same the moment the lab reports a problem. Working to a date, a birthday or a trip? Tell us when you order and we will do what we can.
What's your returns policy?
Every print is made to order, so we can't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. But if your order arrives damaged, or with a fault on our end, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we'll reprint it at no extra cost, or refund you in full.
How do refunds work?
Every print is made to order, so we can't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. But if your order arrives damaged, or with a fault on our end, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we'll reprint it at no extra cost, or refund you in full. We review a request within 2 business days and tell you either way. A full refund goes back to your original payment method and covers what you paid for delivery too; banks usually post it within 5-10 business days. Nothing has to be posted back to us: a photo is enough.
Can I gift this to someone?
Yes. Enter the recipient's address at checkout and we'll ship it straight to them, protected for transit.
Do you offer bulk or corporate orders?
We're building corporate and volume ordering for golf clubs, corporations and events. Register your interest on our corporate page and we'll be in touch.
How do I care for my print?
Keep it out of direct sun and away from damp rooms, and dust the frame and its glazing with a soft, dry cloth. No sprays: liquid can wick behind the glaze. Our care guide has the full version.
